I was Just in my urban garden! An even though its spring around here, my fingers came back frozen. I think I’ll take your advice and grow indoor seedlings :)

The green areas don’t (usually) get any frost. There are year round growing seasons there, but you’ll have to consult your local almanac!

I use the applesauce cups and Gerber baby plastic food containers to start our seeds at the daycare. Thanks for the information. We planted turnip seeds 3 weeks ago and they are growing like ‘happy seedlings’

This is helpful I was thinking of growing some plants on my balcony at my apartment. It is kind of shaded, would that cause serious problems?

Aside from a vegetable garden your illustration here has curiously given me some inspiration to start my own herb garden, too! One with cilantro, basil and parsley would be my dream.
