Happy New Year! Wow it’s been awhile! What better way to start the new year great than by incorporating some healthy vegetables into your meals? Here’s a fun illustrated guide to winter greens by a lovely artist in Berkeley. Dark leafy greens are packed with vitamins and minerals and are great in salads, soups, stir-fry’s, or simply by itself!
Have you made any dishes recently with any of these winter greens? Please share in the comments!
Also, be sure to check out the Farm Stand every Saturday, 10am-2pm! Check out Oakland Food Connection for more Info.
